Dental implant vs bridge
A conventional bridge is quicker and can be the right choice when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns. The drawback is that healthy enamel is prepared to hold the bridge, and you cannot floss those teeth in the usual way.
An implant stands alone. It usually takes longer (healing time, not chair time) and needs enough bone. If a scan shows a graft is required, that is added to the plan rather than hidden.
Read implants and dental bridges. If several teeth are missing, dentures and All-on-4 enter the conversation too.
